Meet Megan Edmonds
I am the owner and photographer of Megan Edmonds Photography. I have been photographing families all across New England professionally now for 7 years. I am the former owner and artistic director of Portsmouth School of Ballet in Portsmouth, NH from 2013-2017. After selling my dance studio to have more time with my growing family, I decided to take on photography as a way to continue to pursue my creativity and work with wonderful people! I am committed to making sure that everyone feels comfortable and has a great experience! I aim to give you the best product.
I love to work with everyone, and I am especially great with children! I love people! I live in Maine with my husband and two daughters! I also continue to teach dance as a guest instructor throughout the New England area.
I love photography that is bright, colorful, clean, creative and beautiful! You can see my style in my work. I love the editing process as much as I love taking photos!
I thrive in stressful situations. I love photographing Families, Maternity, Couples, Generational, Children, Seniors, Headshots, Weddings, Elopements, Engagements, Events, Branding sessions for businesses, Dance and all your photography needs.
I am completely open and accepting of all couples, races, genders, and religions.

Meet Mike Edmonds
Mike is excited to be a 2nd photographer at Weddings, Dance, Sporting and School events!
Mike is currently a National Service Coordinator at Hussey Seating Company working in the professional sports and entertainment venues. He is also a former part time owner of Portsmouth School of Ballet where he ran and oversaw all the financial decisions and business development.
Mike’s easy going personality makes him great with people. He is passionate about meeting and working with different people from different backgrounds.
When Mike isn’t working he loves spending time with his daughters and wife, lead photographer Megan! He enjoys fishing, yoga and surfing in his free time!
Mikes photography philosophy is “Be yourself, there is no one more unique than you”!
We are so extremely lucky to have found Megan Edmonds to capture all of our family photos over the years. She does such amazing work and is truly a talented and overall great human! Megan is the absolute best! We have done family pictures with her twice. She gets amazing shots and makes everyone comfortable in front of the camera. You almost forget your taking pictures and not just enjoying a day with a friend. My 3 year old was her best friend by the end and didn’t want to say goodbye. She does a great job finding unique and beautiful locations to match the feeling you want in your pictures.

Megan photographed our wedding in August of 2021 and I definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a fun, flexible, and super talented photographer! Our wedding was on a family farm and she found incredible back drops and areas for photos that we didn’t even think of! All of the photos that she took were amazing, and working with her on the day of the wedding was effortless. We love the photos from our big day, and can’t thank you enough Megan!
