Meet Megan Edmonds
I am the owner and photographer of Megan Edmonds Photography. I have been photographing families all across New England professionally now for 8 years. I am the former owner and artistic director of one of the largest dance studios in the New England area. After selling my dance studio to have more time with my growing family, I decided to take on photography as a way to continue to pursue my creativity and to work with wonderful people! I am committed to making sure that everyone feels comfortable and has a great experience. I aim to give you the best product. A product that I would want for myself and for my own family.
I love to work with everyone, and I am especially great with children! I love people! I live in Maine with my husband and two daughters! I also continue to teach dance as a guest instructor throughout the New England area. My dance background gives me the opportunity to create using intricate details and original poses. This is where I truly thrive. I will guide you through the entire process.
I love photography that is bright, colorful, clean, and creative. I like my colors in the photos to be as natural and as bright as possible. You can see my style in my work. I love the editing process as much as I love taking photos!
I thrive in stressful situations. I excel with fast paced, big events. I enjoy smaller, intimate events as well.

Meet Mike Edmonds
Mike is a second photographer at Weddings, Dance, Sporting and School events.
Mike works in Solutions Development at Hussey Seating Company in the professional sports and entertainment venues. He is also the former partner/owner of Portsmouth School of Ballet where he ran and oversaw all the financial decisions and business developments with Megan.
Mike’s easy going personality makes him great with people. He is passionate about meeting and working with different people from different backgrounds.
When Mike isn’t working he loves spending time with his daughters and wife, lead photographer Megan! He enjoys fishing, yoga and surfing in his free time!
Mikes photography philosophy is “Be yourself, there is no one more unique than you”!

Megan photographed our wedding in August of 2021 and I definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a fun, flexible, and super talented photographer!
